I had the good fortune to be born and raised in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Our home sat at the foot of Brush Mountain. I walked across a long covered bridge that spanned the Juniata River, to catch our school bus #6 everyday until I graduated my senior year.
At forty years of age I went to college and earned a Bachelors degree. At fifty years of age I started writing.
In 2014 I published "Secret Keepers and Skinny Shadows", a murder mystery based on an unsolved murder that happened in Altoona, Pennsylvania in March 1962. In 2016 I wrote "Trimble's Gift" a short Christmas story of a young boy. In 2018 I published "Secrets" Maranda now has a murder to solve.
